Overview: As a software developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Your responsibilities will include writing, modifying, and testing code, as well as communicating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Write, Modify, and Integrate Code: You will be responsible for writing, modifying, and integrating software code using various programming languages such as C++, Java, and SQL.
- Maintain Existing Programs: You will maintain and update existing computer programs by making necessary modifications as required.
- Communicate Technical Solutions: Effectively communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to team members and clients.
- Research and Evaluate Software Products: Stay updated with the latest software trends and technologies by researching and evaluating various software products.
- Program Animation Software: Program animation software according to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges, and internet-based applications.
- Develop E-commerce Applications: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other internet applications.
- System Development and Coordination: Plan, design, and coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems.
- Client Meetings: Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
Experience and Specialization:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, Model-View-Controller (MVC), C++, Java, SQL, .NET, and MS Office.
- Software Development Skills: Strong understanding and experience in software development methodologies and practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
