Overview: As a software developer at Shabodi Corp., you will be responsible for writing, modifying, integrating, and testing software code for various applications. You will also maintain existing computer programs, communicate technical solutions to stakeholders, and assist in the documentation of user requirements. Responsibilities:
- Write, Modify, and Test Code: Develop high-quality software code using languages such as Java, Eclipse, Shell script, and JavaOS.
- Maintain Existing Programs: Make modifications to existing computer programs as required to ensure their functionality and efficiency.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to team members and clients, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
- Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all projects.
- Requirements Gathering: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Research and Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest software products and technologies through research and evaluation, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Consulting: Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale, addressing any technical issues or concerns that may arise.
Experience and Specialization:
- Education: College diploma or equivalent (CEGEP).
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Eclipse, Shell script, Linux, JavaOS, servers, enterprise applications integration (EAI), object-oriented programming languages, and project management software.
- Software Development Tools: Experience with API, Git, and Soap.
