Overview: As a Graphic Designer at MADIX GRAPHIC SOLUTIONS, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts and designs for a wide range of projects. From print materials to digital media, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to the success of various communication initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate Time: Assess and estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Adapt Existing Illustrations: Modify and adapt existing illustrations to meet client requirements and communication needs.
- Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, understanding their objectives and preferences.
- Sketch Development: Develop realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, bringing creative ideas to life.
- Animated Drawings: Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations, adding dynamic elements to visual designs.
- Multidisciplinary Work: Work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with team members from different departments to achieve project goals.
- Production Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Sub-contracting: Coordinate sub-contracting as needed, managing relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Medium Selection: Determine the most suitable medium to produce the desired visual effect and communication objectives.
- Graphic Element Development: Develop graphic elements that align with client objectives and effectively convey messages.
- Guideline Establishment: Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, ensuring consistency and quality in visual content.
- Sketch Preparation: Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, refining designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in graphic design.
- Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, creative thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
